My husband and I just purchased this home of ours over the summer. Do you know what that means?

Holidays at our house!

I’ve always dreamed of having the holidays at my home, where I get the chance to host all of my family and the friends who come, too. I have an excuse to decorate and finally get the house to be as clean as I wish it were all the time. I can plan a menu and cook all day, and often, prep for days ahead too. I get to be the house with the scent of roast pork and black beans, the one with boiled yucca on the stove and a sangria station in the corner.

I’ll take out the games we’ll play and find the notebook paper that has been long lost in our home so that we can keep track of the scores. I’ll dress the kids in cute outfits and probably don a red nail color.

I love the holidays so much. Honestly, as much as I love to decorate, I’m most excited about the drinks. It’s because the drink represents welcome to me. It’s like saying, “Welcome to my home. Here’s a drink, relax and make yourself at home wherever you please.” The great thing about this is that it can be an everyday occurrence. It doesn’t have to be a holiday to welcome others in your home for conversation and a drink. The first thing I offer is a drink, always.

Today I’m sharing a cocktail recipe that’s reminiscent of holiday produce: a Sparkling Apple Sangria. The ingredients are simple: Riondo Prosecco, apple juice, and brandy combined with slices of fresh apple and a few taps of cinnamon.

You can enjoy this sangria whenever you’d like, but I especially think around the holidays is the best. It smells like the holidays, it tastes like the holidays, and it’s pretty like the holidays.

Riondo Prosecco twist top

I have made cocktails with Riondo Prosecco before and let me tell you, I can’t see myself celebrating the holidays without some sparkly beverages. Because Riondo Prosecco has aromas of apple, pear, and acacia blossom, I thought apple would complement what was already in this sparkling wine. Here’s why I love Riondo Prosecco:

  • It doesn’t break the bank. You can enjoy authentic Italian sparkling wine without spending a fortune. And it’s the #1 prosecco in Italy.
  • It’ll easy to drink. I mean this in two ways. First, it’s a screw-top (twist-off) cap so it’s literally easy to drink. Second, it’s smooth and refreshing so it’s figuratively easy to drink.
  • You can enjoy it year-round and at any time. It’s true! This sparkling wine is not just for special occasions; it can be enjoyed no matter if you’re having a casual dinner with friends, relaxing on your front porch in this beautiful weather, or yes, for a big holiday gathering. The screw-top makes it so easy to enjoy quickly and put together your cocktail in no time. And especially around the holidays, isn’t it the best to make things easy on ourselves and our guests?

So go ahead. Meal prep and do all that you require for yourself to do during the holidays, but rest assured that Riondo Prosecco Cocktails will at least make the drinks part of the evening easy for you. Enjoy your sparkling wine with a deep breath of relaxation, then look around and take in all your loved ones doing the same.

Mission accomplished.

Very badly written, I am sorry. Not worth a nomination.
