Organizing the Holidays with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8

The holidays can be stressful, but I’m not telling you anything new. You’ve experienced it, I’m sure. The shopping (and just keeping track of the deals), the cooking you’re planning on doing, the guests you’re planning on hosting, the cleaning that always need to be done.

Throughout the years, I’ve developed a system to make the holidays a little easier, but it certainly needed some work. Especially with my most recent move to North Carolina, when we still have boxes to be unloaded in the garage (12 months later), my organization has completely gone to the wayside.

Thankfully, my newest resource is a lifesaver. I’m a mom, and a busy one at that. We are always doing things together away from the house and so, as much as I was once a paper list person, I’ve switched 100% to digital.

How many times are you at a stop light and think, Oh! I really need to remember to make that pie that every said they loved last year. Or can I just tell you how often I’m pulling Max in his wagon around the neighborhood and some inspiration for holiday decor just pops into my head. It happens a lot! And I’m certainly not carrying a paper planner around with me everywhere I go.

If I didn’t have the Samsung Galaxy Note 8‘s notes app, I would have ideas and reminders in my head that would be long gone by the time I was in a place to write them down. And taking note was never, ever easier! With the S-Pen, I don’t even have to search for the notes app! When you’re frazzled with an 18 month old (and pregnant too, by the way), there is little mental capacity to search for an app. You may very well forget what you were even looking for in the first place. Pregnancy brain is very real, folks.

When you detach the S-Pen from the phone, a list of quick items automatically comes up. Simply click on the notes option and jot down what you have your mind on! A serious game changer for this mom who is really just trying to move along from one day to the next.

I am already using this notes app to get myself in order for the upcoming holidays. I grew up with a traditional Cuban meal and I plan on continuing that this year as well. That’s some recipe testing and a lot of cooking and prepping and things to keep track of.
