The Rez Grill at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Tampa

Southern-Inspired Delights >> The Rez Grill, Seminole Hard Rock, Tampa

I was invited to The Rez Grill to try their new menu items + some fan favorites. AS ALWAYS, these opinions are 100% my own.

I’m not a gambler. In fact, I think in all of my 35 years I have gambled at the local Seminole Hard Rock Casino a grand total of 30 minutes. It was probably just some fun slots that I immediately get bored of.

The Rez Grill Tampa

No, as a food lover, I don’t go to the casino for the gambles. I go for the EATS. Most recently, my husband and I checked out The Rez Grill (which is located directly across from Sugar Factory so fun fact for some after dinner yum yums!!) What excited me about The Rez Grill is their southern-inspired cuisine and most definitely the fact that they use ingredients that are locally sourced and sustainably farmed. I LOVE when I see that at a restaurant because I truly believe that by supporting the local farmers, we can make a change to our food industry.

Without further ado, let’s get down with the recap!

For me, the star of the show was that Heirloom Tomato Salad. My goodness, I swear I want to make a weekly trip just to have that salad, it was that good. Lucky for me, Mike doesn’t typically go for salads at all so it was mine…alllll mine.

Other standouts were the grilled green beans. They may look pretty, but essentially just like regular green beans. To that I say…NO. They are NOT regular green beans. They are magic green beans, capable of eliciting flavors that make your mouth water.

I was also very impressed with the sauces for the ribs. Love that they provided different options other than a variety of traditional BBQ sauce.

And do you know how long it has been since I had a po’boy? Since I was in Key West pre-kids. I was so happy to be ordering this during our visit!

Last but not least, those cocktails are pretty and powerful. That’s right, you know that your money is going toward a generous pour and that always makes me happy.

Have you tried The Rez Grill before? You may want to go on over there and have a seat in their space. Order many items off of their appetizers and sides list, grab a group of girlfriends and enjoy their tapped cocktails, available in large format. They have house-made sangria, a vanilla paloma, cucumber vodka and elderflower drink, and a rum runner. YUM!
