National Mint Julep Day | Ginger Mint Julep
Mint Juleps remind me of the Kentucky Derby. I’ve always wanted to don the big, fun, beautiful, completely outlandish hat and pretend to watch horses race while sipping on a minty adult beverage.
I mean, mojitos are a favorite of mine, and mint juleps aren’t too far off.
However, I had some ginger ale still in the fridge from a must-buy moment at the grocery store and I thought tonight: I bet ginger ale would taste great in a mint julep. Sometimes you just have to try different things to find the next best thing.
Enjoy National Mint Julep Day! I hope it takes you to the racetrack.
