National Chocolate Milk Day | Sweetened Hot Chocolate Milk
The thing is…I can go on and on about how I really don’t like chocolate at all, but I’m kind of a liar because, if you’ll look through my blog and as my mom is quick to point out (thanks, Mom), you’ll see that I praise my chocolate dishes. Well, what can I say? I guess my taste buds are evolving or something. That’s not to say that I’ll ever prefer chocolate over vanilla or strawberry, but I guess I have a better handle on it and I won’t groan when someone picks to have a chocolate cake for their birthday (too much).
I do like chocolate milk, but I usually go for the Yoohoo or some other really sweetened chocolate drink, which basically means not the real stuff.
So, for National Chocolate Milk Day, I made a sweetened chocolate milk. And because I’m hoping for much cooler weather soon now that fall is officially here, I made the chocolate milk hot.
Speaking of hot, I’m currently in New Orleans to see Megan get married! Wahoo! I’ll have my food recap when I get back, of course. You can’t go to NOLA and not document every morsel of food you consume, right?
