National California Strawberry Day | Strawberry & Pineapple Parfait
Fast food is gross. We all know it. But, I’ll visit McDonald’s for a parfait. I’m not even a big fan of yogurt, but there’s something about the mixture of yogurt, fruit, and granola that I love. Unfortunately, I don’t allow myself enough time for breakfast every morning, but it takes almost zero effort to make a parfait.
The other week, all parfait ingredients were on sale at the grocery store, including fruit. I immediately knew what I would make for National California Strawberry Day, although these strawberries are from Plant City, Florida. Oh well.
My go-to combo for parfaits is strawberries and pineapple with some maple granola and vanilla yogurt. It’s creamy, it’s crunchy, it’s a healthy breakfast alternative that won’t break the bank either. Enjoy National California Strawberry Day!

- Pineapple chunks
- Vanilla yogurt
- Maple granola, available at more grocery stores
- Layer fruit and yogurt. Top with granola.
