National Strawberry Sundae Day | Strawberry Fruit Loops Sundae
It’s really quite simple. Stawberry ice cream + your favorite cereal = always a good treat.
I happen to love Fruit Loops, even plain for a snack, and they just so happened to be on sale the other day. Fruit Loops was a clear winner for my strawberry sundae topping and mixture.
I was inspired by Willow Bird Baking and her Fruity Pebbles Strawberry Ice Cream Sundae. Go ahead and click on over; that thing is beautiful.
You know, I feel a little guilty that I’m not bringing you freshly made strawberry ice cream. But, this ice cream was purchased before I had an ice cream maker (which I only acquired about a week ago) and it’s highly unfortunate, but I simply don’t have room for multiple quarts of ice cream in my freezer. I wish I could have a whole freezer dedicated to my homemade ice creams!
If you want a homemade strawberry ice cream recipe, Google will be your best friend, or check out the recipe instructions at Willow Bird Baking. SHE made her own ice cream for her sundae.
Also, don’t fret. I’ll have a lovely homemade peach ice cream with blueberries on July 17th for the food holiday. Oh yes.
