National Brandied Fruit Day | Brandy-Soaked Fruit
Today is another food holiday where I wonder how the food holiday came to be. Not to say that brandied fruit isn’t tasty, because it is, but how does one think, and love it enough, to make it into a national food holiday?
Oh well, I’m here to celebrate the food holidays and celebrate I shall do.
Brandied fruit is really very simple. I chose to package the fruit into these mason jars and pull them out when I needed a spiked topping for my ice cream. I recommend you do the same because there’s perhaps no finer way to wind down after a long day.
Happy National Brandied Fruit Day!
