National Black Cow Day | Brown Cow
How now, Brown Cow?
I remember hearing this saying somewhere, somehow. I forget what it’s for, but I think it has to do with speech and annunciation.
Today is National Black Cow Day, which is another name for a Root Beer Float, but there is also National Root Beer Float Day coming up so I decided to take the black cow and make it brown with Coca-Cola.
To me, a Coke Float reigns supreme, and even though I like the taste of root beer, it just doesn’t give me the same wonderfully nostalgic feeling when mixed with ice cream like Coke does.
You’ll be privy to a delicious and beautiful Black Cow on August 6, but for now, a Brown Cow is what’s on the menu. Plus, I had some coke left over from a baby shower I co-hosted so making a Brown Cow was so much simpler than making a Black Cow (no additional grocery shopping).
Enjoy, and bask in the heat of the summer!
