Attending Monster Jam with Max
Monster Jam is one of those events that are just more fun with children. I mean, I haven’t attended Monster Jam prior to having Max and prior to this time we just went, but I imagine kids are what make the event so much fun. I definitely spent more time taking in Max’s excitement than actually paying attention to what was going on.
Monster Jam will be back in Tampa on February 2 and there are still tickets available, so if you are interested, I suggest you go buy some and see the wonder that is the monster truck through your little one’s eyes. So much fun!
We had pit passes, which is an opportunity to meet the monster trucks and drivers, see a motorcycle show, and play on the rides and games. This takes place before the show starts!
After we got in and enjoyed some food, we struggled a little bit with getting Max to wear his headphones, but then he settled in nicely. The show included races and a 2-wheel stunt portion. Some monster trucks overturned and after the first one, Max just cheered for the others. That first flip, though, caused him to jump into a standing position so he could see and make sure the monster truck was okay. Days later and he still says, “Max D fell over but he’s okay. Don’t worry, mama.”
Adorable, right?
Have you been to Monster Jam? If not, I highly encourage you go!
Disclosure: I was provided with tickets to Monster Jam. As always, my opinions, and my child’s excitement and wonder was in no way influenced by a blogger/brand partnership. All opinions are 100% my own.
