Earth Fare Now Open in Wesley Chapel
For those who don’t know, we lived in North Carolina from November 2016 to April 2018. We thought it would be a permanent move, but we missed calling Tampa our home too much so we came back after the birth of our daughter. The place we lived was pretty far away from grocery stores, or at least a longer driving distance than we were used to. We lived kind of in the middle of the larger cities of the Triangle area.
Soon, though, I discovered that Earth Fare was just a short distance away…and that’s where my love affair was born. We went to Earth Fare at least once a week for grocery shopping, and then shopped by whenever I forgot something, or needed more goat milk for my son (when he turned a year, we mixed goat and cow milk). I loved that I didn’t have to drive the 35+ minutes (Whole Foods) to have access to organic produce, which is so important to my family. I loved that we also had access to organic nuts and that the hot bar was always full of food my family enjoyed.
When we moved, I actually was sad to leave Earth Fare behind and I discovered that the one local to the Tampa area was over an hour drive away. I mean, I could get to Disney World in a shorter time than Earth Fare.
NOW I DON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT! Seriously, this new Earth Fare on the border of Wesley Chapel and Lutz is my dream. It’s less than 10 minutes from the home we just bought this past summer. We have close access to plenty of organic options now. We don’t have to visit multiple grocery stores just to get what we need. It’s a perfect place for grocery shopping, smoothies (they have a juice and smoothie bar!), lunch with the kids (they have a cafe sit-down area!), and it’s all so close to home that I cannot contain my excitement.
I guess you know you’re an adult when you get pumped for grocery stores, but the truth is that I’ve always loved grocery stores. My very first job was at a grocery store and I worked there until I graduated from high school. Later, I went back to work in their corporate offices. Basically I just love being in the presence of food. That’s what it boils down to.
