Designing First Birthday Invites with Paperless Post
This is a safe space, right? Can I be honest and say that I am so looking forward to Juliette getting older? Everyone keeps telling me that I’ll miss this period of her life years from now when I look back, and some people are already saying that I should be missing the newborn period, to which I say…you did not know this child as a newborn.
Ha!
I will look back on this time in our life with fondness and also a desire to never relive it. Plus, it’s first birthday party time!
February in Florida is the peak of strawberry season so of course I have to go with a strawberry-themed first birthday party for Juliette. It’s way too easy and that’s exactly what I need. It’s also exactly why I used Paperless Post for her invites.
Paperless Post is exactly what you’d think – it’s a card service that’s 100% online. You can send invitations for parties, thank you notes, cards for other special occasions and sentiments, like a thank you or sympathy.
I actually used Paperless Post for our wedding invites and thank you cards 6 years (!!!!) ago and it was such a seamless process. You can include RSVPs on your card, the map showing the location of the event, a guest list, a message/guest book, and even an option for guests to save the event to their calendar. Paperless Post makes it so simple for me to make invitation updates, send a message to guests (key for any unexpected updates!), track RSVPs and more.
When creating your card, you can choose different fonts, colors and styles. There are so many customizations that you will absolutely find something to fit your needs.
My husband and I are all about preserving the environment as much as we can so an electronic option for cards is right in line.
You do have to buy “coins” for the cards you send, but it’s super super super reasonable, definitely cheaper than regular cards and there are lots of free customization options! I will probably use Paperless Post until the end of time. And now excuse me, I’m off to finish party planning.
Disclosure: I received free coins in exchange for this post. As always, all opinions are my own and not influenced by a brand/blogger partnership. Plus, I’ve been using Paperless Post forever so there’s that.
