Disney On Ice review
I remember going to Disney On Ice when I was a kid. I remember the snow cones and the toys that twirl and light up. I remember seeing my favorite Disney characters glide across the ice, singing the songs of my favorite movies. I remember the smell of popcorn and cotton candy and the cool air of the arena. I remember it all, even though it was so long ago. I’m pretty sure that’s where my love of watching figure skaters really began.
All of these vivid memories is exactly why I wanted to bring my children to Disney On Ice here in Tampa. Even though they don’t know who anyone is outside of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, we regularly listen to the Disney station on Pandora and so my (almost) 3 year old son knew a bunch of the Frozen and Moana songs from our dance parties in the living room.
And how amazing is it to see the wonder and excitement in a little one’s eyes? It’s unparalleled, right? I mean, I most definitely watched the kids more than I did the show. The kids were my show because they were so very happy to be there. They were clapping and dancing and little Juliette was bouncing up and down on my lap. At one point Max even encouraged his little sister to clap with him and it was the most adorable thing ever.
The show featured Moana, Frozen, Coco, Cinderella, Tangled, Beauty and the Beast, and your favorite Disney characters like Mickey and Minnie, Donald Duck, and Goofy.
If you have not been to a show, I highly encourage you find the time to attend next time it’s here!
