Zombies – a pop culture phenomenon that I’m definitely a part of. Can you imagine living in a zombie-ridden world? Because part of that is really scary and the other part is kind of thrilling? Am I crazy? (Don’t answer that.)
I can just imagine if something like this would happen, The Walking Dead style, and here we all are with no grocery stores, no movie theaters, no society and everyone left to fend for themselves. I mean, I’d be one of the first gone, I’m fairly certain, but that’s neither here nor there.
Wait, you know what I’d be doing? Enjoying some wine. It’s true – I’m a lover of red wine and if the you-know-what is going to hit the fan, you’ll probably find me sipping on a red blend or cabernet sauvignon. I would also hope I’d be surrounded by friends because in the zombie apocalypse, apparently it’s important to travel in large groups. I think maybe it’s because your chances of being the one in the group to perish is lower the more of you there are? (I think I just made that up.)
Basically what I’m saying is that I’d go out doing what I love which is enjoying time with friends and family, and enjoying time with some wine. So do you want to hear about a pretty cool feature on some bottles of wine? OF COURSE YOU DO.
Available at Kroger, Ralph’s, and Fred Meyer, The Walking Dead wine will be a hit with you and your friends because you can take these wines, download the Living Wine Labels app, and see the Red Blend and Cabernet Sauvignon wine labels interact with each other! Get ready for this: Rick Grimes comes out to defend himself against a walker. I mean, is this 2018 or 2057, because this is blowing my mind.
It’s called augmented reality and with the Living Wine Labels app, it’s a fun way to learn the story behind your wine and have a little fun with your friends at your get together. The app is free and available on the Google Play Store and Apple Store.
The wine is delicious, and you could serve it alongside meatloaf. Who else loves a dish of ground beef? It’s cooked and it’s not human so that’s win-win, but also if the zombies were to come out when you’re having everyone over for a meal, maybe you could distract them with what you’re serving. Maybe? Those zombies aren’t very smart, but they do know what they like.
