I’ve probably made more parfaits than anything else during this national food holiday challenge that I’m about sick of them. Unfortunately, in my quest to prove to myself that I can actually do this project, my creativity isn’t as pronounced as it usually is. How can it when I’m churning out recipe after recipe?
That’s why I rely some on my husband, who came up with doing this breakfast fruit parfait for National Strawberry Parfait Day. It’s a simple recipe that I couldn’t even think of. But who doesn’t like fruit for breakfast, and lots of it? I know I certainly do.
I wanted to make these fruits into a completely even layer, pushing each layer down on top of the other to create something as pretty as possible, but I have no such device so this is what I did, and what you get. Let me tell you how much I loved it. I grabbed the cup and I was on my way to work this morning. Happy Wednesday!
