National Food Holidays - The Challenge

National Food Holidays

This National Food Holiday Challenge is a labor of love. I’ve decided to make a dish for every national food holiday of the year. Most days are only dedicated to one food holiday, but some have two or more, totaling over 400 for the year. I thought that I could celebrate food every single day so why not do so in the best way possible? The calendar I’m going off of is from The Nibble, the one major site that I found to have the most correct information. You’ll notice some days like “Eat a Hoagie Day” and “Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk Day”, but I’m not considering that a national food holiday for this purpose. I’m also not celebrating the month or week long celebrations. Just the days. They overlap anyway.

Below you’ll find the national food holidays that I’ll be participating in.
